Qualifications

  • BAppSci (Physiotherapy) Sydney University

  • Unite Health APPI Pilates Course Educator since 2019

Chels is a physiotherapist with 15 years’ experience in sports and musculoskeletal physiotherapy. She has also trained and worked as a pelvic health physio and is currently an educator for Unite Health APPI, Australia’s leading Pilates instructor Training Institute.

She’s passionate about all things movement, which is what led her to open MVMT Studio. After years in the industry, she saw too many people caught in fitness fads and short-term physio fixes that didn’t last. Her approach blends rehab, functional training and performance, helping people move better, stay injury-free, and keep doing what they love long-term.

Her physio sessions go beyond just treating symptoms. They include a full-body assessment and movement analysis, individualised rehab and training programs, and ongoing support to get you back to (and beyond) your best. Depending on your needs, this may include hands-on treatment, dry needling, progressive strength training, clinical Pilates, and active mobility work.

Chels enjoys her own mix of strength, Pilates and mobility training, but you’ll mostly find her outdoors snowboarding, hiking, surfing or being an average runner.
